More Disinformation Masquerading as “News”

The Financial Times report linked below is the latest example of how disinformation is being dressed up and fed to the public in the guise of “journalism”.
Earlier last week an article entitled “Iran ex-president hints at divisions over support for Bashar a–Assad appeared in the Financial Times, which quoted Rafsanjani as saying:
“God bless the people of Syria . . . they were subjected to chemical weapons by their own government and now they have to expect a foreign invasion…”
Iran’s former president, has publicly denied making the comments attributed to him in the Financial Times article.
“Recent quotes (attributed) to me regarding Syria… are absolutely not true,”Rafsanjani was quoted as telling a crowd of war veteran families on Saturday.
Rafsanjani has also posted a denial that he made the statement on his own website. However, the Financial Times has yet to publish Rafsanjani’s denial or retract or amend the article in which the comments he is alleged to have made originally appeared.
To add insult to injury the following appears should you try to copy the FT report
“High quality global journalism requires investment. Please share this article with others using the link below, do not cut & paste the article…”
So much for the FT’s idea of “High quality global journalism”.
The comments attributed to Rafsanjani seem intended to add weight to arguments that the Syrian government was behind the recent chemical weapons attack on its own people. Despite the fact that strong evidence exists in both video and photographic format that the so-called “Syrian rebels” were behind the atrocity.
True to form, the corporate Western media has completely ignored these indications pointing to the involvement of supposed “Syrian rebels”. Nor is this the only example of the corporate media presenting a distorted account of events in Syria.
The BBC recently reported that the Syrian Air Force appeared to be dropping incendiary bombs on a children’s playground, leaving “scores of children with napalm like burns”.
As yet no other evidence has emerged to corroborate the BBC claim. Nor have any other independent reports appeared to confirm it. Although numerous other reports have cited the BBC claim, and in some cases treated it almost as if it were an established fact.
In effect, large elements of the established media appear to be conducting a campaign to portray the regime of President Assad in the worst possible light. Using unverified claims and factual distortion to argue that “something must be done”. Essentially making the case for military action against President Assad.
If this sounds tiresomely familiar it should, for this is not without precedent. Almost a decade ago the Western media was performing a similar routine over Saddam Hussein and his “Weapons of Mass Destruction”. Remember them? The fabled WMD that were used to justify the invasion of Iraq and which were subsequently found to be largely the product of journalist’s imagination.
Will this media generated disinformation work again? Will it convince a war weary public of the need to punish Assad? Judging by recent surveys the British public has yet to be convinced, and we will know soon enough if the U.S. Congress can be persuaded.

And YES, I know that according to NEW YORK – President Obama’s Kenyan half-brother, Malik Obama, appears headed for the Egyptian terror watch list because of his Muslim Brotherhood ties.
Complaints have been filed with Egypt’s prosecutor-general calling for Malik to be put on Egypt’s terror watch list and brought to Egypt to be questioned by state criminal investigators for allegedly financing terrorism, according to former PLO member and native Arabic-speaker Walid Shoebat.
According to Egyptian newspaper and television reports, Malik Obama has become a target in an Egyptian government terrorist investigation because of his role as an owner and investment adviser for the Sudan-based Islamic Dawa Organization, or IDO, and the organization’s umbrella group, the Muslim Brotherhood.

One of America’s most respected political leaders, former congressman and presidential candidate Dennis Kucinich, says the US is about to become “al-Qaeda’s air force.”
Kucinich points out that the US-supported rebels fighting the Syrian government are led by al-Qaeda. Even the New York Times has admitted that the leading anti-Assad group is an al-Qaeda affiliate called the al-Nusra front: “In Syria’s largest city, Aleppo, rebels aligned with Al Qaeda control the power plant, run the bakeries and head a court that applies Islamic law.”
So if the US intervenes against Assad, it will be supporting al-Qaeda.
And it gets worse.
By postponing his attack on Syria, US President Obama has set the stage for one of history’s supreme ironies: On September 11th, the US military could become “al-Qaeda’s air force.”
A congressional vote authorizing a US attack on Syria could come on Monday or Tuesday, September 9th or 10th. This could set the stage for a US bombing campaign designed to help al-Qaeda take control of Syria. And that bombing campaign could be launched on September 11th.
Would the American war party really have the chutzpah to choose September 11th as the date to launch its pro-al-Qaeda bombing campaign?
The neocon warmongers may be running out of money, but they suffer from no shortage of chutzpah. Turning the US Air Force into al-Qaeda’s Air Force on September 11th cannot be ruled out.
Why do some US policy-makers want to help al-Qaeda take over Syria?
First, they want to make an example of Assad – just as they made examples of Muammar Qaddafi, Saddam Hussein, Hugo Chavez, Salvador Allende, Patrice Lumumba, Manuel Noriega, Jaime Aguilera, Omar Torrijos, John and Robert Kennedy, Ngo Dinh Diem, Sukarno, Mohammad Mosaddegh, and so many other leaders who refused to follow orders.
Secondly, they want to cripple the Axis of Resistance consisting of Hezbollah, Syria, and Iran. Al-Qaeda, though it pretends to be anti-imperialist and anti-Zionist, has never attacked Israel, but is a sworn enemy of the Axis of Resistance.
Third, they want to destabilize Syria and ensure that there is no competent Syrian government capable of administering and defending Syrian territory. That would allow US-occupied Qatar to put a gas pipeline through Syria to Turkey, and help Rupert Murdoch and Lord Rothschild’s company Genie Energy drill for oil in Syria’s Israeli-occupied Golan Heights.
Fourth, the Israelis – who largely control US Mideast policy – want Syria broken up into three weak mini-states. Israeli Minister of Military Affairs Moshe Yaalon explained the desired outcome: “’We could see the implosion of Syria with the Alawites controlling the western part – the coastal region and a corridor to Damascus – and the Kurds and Sunnis controlling the east and north.”
Fifth, smashing Syria, a Russian ally, would strike a blow against Putin’s resurgent Russia.
Sixth, an al-Qaeda victory in Syria would put al-Qaeda back on the map as a supposed threat to the West, and re-energize the flagging “war on terror.”
And seventh, a newly-energized al-Qaeda could continue to be a covert ally of the West in its terrorist attacks on Russia, Iran, Iraq, and other nations that refuse to do the West’s bidding.
The truth is that al-Qaeda has always been the West’s ally, not its enemy. The plan to unleash al-Qaeda was drafted at the Jerusalem Conference on International Terrorism (JCIT) in 1979. Bernard Lewis, a British-Zionist Middle East expert, is al-Qaeda’s intellectual godfather.
Al-Qaeda was created by Western secret services to fight the Russians in Afghanistan. Since then, it has been conducting terrorist attacks against both Muslim and Western countries with the collaboration of its sponsors – rogue elements at the top of the Western secret services.
Nafeez Ahmed, the leading British scholarly expert on al-Qaeda, cites a revealing incident:
“Turkish daily Zaman revealed that (al-Qaeda leader Laui) Sakra, like many of the alleged 9/11 hijackers, did not act in accordance with basic Islamic edicts. When Turkish Security Directorate officials told him that ‘he might perform his religious practices to have a better dialogue… and to gain his confidence,’ Sakra responded: ‘I do not pray. I also drink alcohol.’ “
“Zaman reported incredulously the most surprising elements of Sakra’s candid revelations during his four-day interrogation at Istanbul Anti-Terror Department Headquarters: ‘…al-Qaeda may not be, strictly speaking, an organization, but an element of an intelligence agency operation.’ As a result of Sakra’s statements: ‘Turkish intelligence specialists agree that there is no such organization as al-Qaeda. Rather, al-Qaeda is the name of a secret service operation. The concept ‘fighting terror’ is the background of the ‘low-intensity-warfare’ conducted in the mono-polar world order. The subject of this strategy of tension is named as ‘al-Qaeda.’ ”
Sakra, one of al-Qaeda’s top five kingpins, turned out to be on the CIA payroll. Like Osama Bin Laden, code-named “Tim Osman,” and al-Qaeda’s main operational terror organizer, Ali Mohamed, Laui Sakra was a Western intelligence asset whose job was to manufacture phony “Islamic terrorism” in service to Western and Zionist geo-strategic goals.
On September 11th, 2001, rogue US military commanders flew remote-controlled planes into their targets; the Pentagon was bombed; and the World Trade Center was demolished with explosives. The operation was conducted under the cover of what historian Webster Tarpley calls “the 46 Drills, War Games, and Operations” that made 9/11 happen.
So if the US Air Force becomes al-Qaeda’s Air Force on September 11th, it won’t be the first time.

The idea of the New World Order is dead on arrival.
The proponents of the idea, like little boy Tony Blair, are too corrupt and immature. The others are into the power and greed. That sets up antagonistic forces, which lust for the same power that the little boys have. What order would an insane degenerate like George Bush, whose been implicated in the 9/11 murders, bring to the world? It’s not going to happen.
Belligerence is infectious. The Turks are set to war with Syria, the Chinese are in a feud with Japan, the Jews want to bomb Iran, the Arabs want to rub out Israel, Russia has sent 90,000 troops to Syria, India fights with Pakistan, Greece is tearing itself apart, Spain is in turmoil, Catalonia wants to leave and become independent, and the world is smothered in a tsunami of debt.
The New World Order is the dream of silly old men, impotent men, with little perception or real value. It’s all their illusion. I’ve said before, the first time a bullet goes through the window of the Federal Reserve, the illusion of their feigned grandeur will pop like a soap bubble. It is very possible that the population will not allow themselves to be crushed by lies, and the corruptions of old men.
The desire to control and dominate is a demonic force, deep down it is sexual perversion, like pedophilia (see below), the macho male thrusting himself upon the feminine spirit, attempting to own her and dominate.
Obama’s campaign ad saying women should vote for him as if their private parts depended on it, illustrates my point. The lust for political power and importance is sexual, no one realized that before. Kissinger admitted it when he said, “Power is the ultimate aphrodisiac.” Seventy year old Silvio Berluscioni in Italy, fell when he was exposed for having sexual intercourse with a minor, and running parties with prostitutes at his house.
